2011 Fashion Forecasts 

A new year calls for new trends. It is predicted that 2011 will bring bright colors, lace, a subtle biker style, punk fashion and '70s glamour.

2011 calls for  sophisticated,   punk  and  bohemian  styles.

As for trends from the '70s coming back, we will be seeing sophisticated glamour as well as '70s bohemian. The '70s hippie look is coming back, so go out and buy some bell-bottoms. It is also forecasted that the evening look will comprise of maxi dresses and high-waisted pants with elegant blouses for the day.

It is expected that this Spring will encompass the biker and punk look. 2011 will bring in "motorcycle chic." This look entails blending sophisticated with a punk touch. According to Fashionising, this year's punk look will be more about mixing punk style with other trends. This year, you might want to Spring for a leather jacket and a chic dress.  

           

Lace will also be making a reappearance this Spring. Lace dresses and lace skirts are predicted to be trendy next season. Different from other seasons, this season the lace is less an addition to the garment, and more the actual garment. The sheer look is also coming back, maxi dresses with a sheer bottom.

Accessory trends include cat eye sunglasses, big bangles and big obi belts.
